If you're organizing a car show or know of one that's not listed, you can add it to our website for free. This is how we grow together, by sharing and promoting events that fuel our passion for cars. Our goal goes beyond just listing events; we're here to promote and support car shows that give back, especially those raising funds for charities.
Investing in Automobile Collecting Through the Eras
Car shows and cruise-ins are both events that bring together people who love cars. Some car shows are focused on a certain type of car (classic, vintage, or modern) and some are even limited to a particular make of car. The cruise-ins will be in multiple locations within Hall of Fame Village, including the Honor Lot, Play-Action Plaza, and Champions Gateway. The events will feature live broadcasts by Q92 Radio with music and giveaways. Admission to the cruise-in events is free, with public parking available in the Respect and Unity lots. What makes Cars and Coffee Events different?
We are also active in local-level charities, and volunteering services for people in time of need. On the other hand, a cruise-in is a more casual gathering of car enthusiasts. These events typically take place in a parking lot or other open space, where car owners can park their vehicles and show them off to other enthusiasts. There is generally no competitive aspect to a cruise-in. The family-friendly events, in collaboration with Q92 Radio and the Minerva Motor Club, will be from 5 to 8 p.m.
The Corvette has introduced us to many different people. We like to get together for dinners, trips, concerts, parades, and other social events. In the past the Club was active in auto-cross and drag racing and there is some interest in getting back to that. Our members can also participate in rallies throughout the region with other ckubs.
Some of these events have a competitive aspect, with judges awarding prizes for the best cars in various categories. Sometimes (but not always) you’ll find vendors selling car-related merchandise, food vendors, and maybe even live music or entertainment. What started out as a small web site that only listed cars and coffee events has grown into the largest database of events for auto, bike, truck and Jeep enthusiasts on the web. Lake Shore Corvettes is primarily a social organization.
